I know not all have great skill at working the trolling motor, and it takes a lot of practice. Nonetheless, merely people who brand attempt to put out brushpiles truly know how much hard work it is. Please don't use anchor if you tin can assist it. Learn and learn and do and practise some more than of how to properly utilise your trolling motor to fish for crappies over brushpiles. Line-fishing brushpiles is 95% directly on meridian of the brushpiles. In that location are a few occasions where it is more than productive by throwing a mark buoy to marker the brushpile then situate the gunkhole away from it to bandage in, permit the jig autumn across it. Otherwise, it is mostly effective if your boat is really on top of the brushpile where yous can really see information technology on your graph. With that being said, typical anchor is usually fifty' away from the marked brushpile. Whatever calorie-free air current would eventually migrate your gunkhole off of the mark. Hence, many people tend to drop the anchor right next to the brushpile if not really onto information technology. Dragging the anchor intentionally or unintentionally will ruin such brushpile in which someone was kind enough to make the effort to sink. For myself, I don't even utilise loftier poundage braided line because I would rather loosing a jig any day then to fifty-fifty break off a little branch of whatever brushpile. Remember, locating the fish is 90% of the piece of work of catching. If a brushpile is belongings fish, cherish it because next time out, that brushpile might no longer be at that place to concur whatsoever fish! | Re: Anchors for brush piles [Re: bbuchanan] #11954879 11/28/xvi 05:04 PM | Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: vii,722 BlueNitro TFF Glory | TFF Celebrity Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 7,722 | Happy B-Twenty-four hours SlabmeSilly.
